Scotland’s capital is a magical place for kids of all ages, it can inspire their imagination to new heights, with a trip to one of the many literary shows and attractions on offer free of charge around the square this Hogmanay.
Baby You’re a Firework
Every year, the iconic sight of fireworks of Edinburgh Hogmanay exploding from Edinburgh Castle as the clock strikes midnight is broadcast around the world. For those that prefer to watch the spectacle from a warmer, indoor location, there are plenty of excellent vantage points across the city. The black-tie ball at the Royal Botanic Gardens has uninterrupted views of the Castle and city skyline, making the fireworks a first-hand sight.
