But as any gluten free or dietary requirement will tell you, the last thing you want is to be sat in a restaurant and refined to two choices on the menu. The Gluten free wave is dominating the dining scene and restaurants are seeing more and more demand for gluten free options on their menu’s. So when eating in Edinburgh, it seems only fitting you know where to be and what to get. After all, it’s the experience that counts.
Slice of Heaven
Loudons is a lovely and spacious cafe. It serves amazing breakfasts, brunches, lunches & cakes. There is a huge range of gluten free, dairy free, vegan & nut free cakes which are all baked in their onsite bakery. They also bake all their own gluten free bread downstairs in the bakery, so its enough for all the treats and none of the guilt, which makes eating in Edinburgh a gluten free dream.
Urban Angel is a beautiful cafe, tucked away at the lower end of Hanover Street. It is only a few minutes walk from the lovely shopping of George Street & is well worth a trip. Everything on their menu can be made gluten free and the staff are very well informed on all allergens.
Pizzeria Pleasure
Mamma’s is a favourite amongst locals and tourist eating in Edinburgh. Situated right in the middle of the Grassmarket it is easily accessible from the Edinburgh castle area. Mamma’s serves up amazing pizzas on homemade gluten free bases. The bases are really delicious & the extensive variety of topping means you really can create your own pizza.
Biteful Burger
Another famous hotspot biting into the Gluten Free bun is Bread Meats Bread. This burger joint is a prime hotstop for eating in Edinburgh and has the mouths of locals watering just at the thought of it. Stocking gluten free buns and the ability to choose any burger from the menu, we’re wondering what else could possibly create a heaven on earth.[/vc_column_text][vc_btn title=”Explore Edinburgh Things to Do >>” style=”outline-custom” outline_custom_color=”#a31f83″ outline_custom_hover_background=”#a31f83″ outline_custom_hover_text=”#ffffff” shape=”square” align=”center” link=”url:http%3A%2F%2Fedinburghthingstodo.co.uk%2F||” button_block=”true”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_single_image image=”900″ img_size=”full”][vc_single_image image=”897″ img_size=”full”][vc_single_image image=”901″ img_size=”full”][vc_single_image image=”904″ img_size=”full”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
